We enjoyed an exceptional growing season in 1998 and anticipate some of the best Washington wines produced to date. Echoing the stunning 1994 vintage, a mild spring during bud break and vine flowering led to very hot days during July and August, giving an even crop set and good yield. Harvest began in September with long warm days followed by cool nights. The mild month of October provided ample time for maturing berry flavors.
